He ranked 2nd nationwide in the exams to study Business Administration at the University of Macedonia and got his MBA from Georgetown University. He worked as an investment analyst in the Education unit of the IFC, as a Manager at the online university Strayer Education (NASD: STRA) and founded StageLearn, a startup that was a finalist in the 2014 iHub learning innovation event, an event that was hosted by the Silicon Valley Education Foundation.
Arthur got his BS and MS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon university. He was the cofounder of LearnBop a startup that was acquired by K12 (NYSE: LRN). Arthur and Dimitris first met during the Silicon Valley 2014 iHub learning innovation event, a contest where Arthur emerged victorious.
He is a graduate of the EE Department of AUTH where he is currently pursuing his MS degree in Math. He has won the bronze medal in the Balkan Mathematics Olympiad in 2002 and 1 gold and 2 bronze medals in the Greek Mathematics Olympiad in 2002, 2004, and 2005, respectively.
He holds a BS degree in EE and CS from MIT. He has won the Bronze Medal in the International Mathematics Olympiad in 1996. He has built products in cloud computing, education technology and big data in companies like Knewton, Netflix and the Toyota Research Institute. He started Dr. Techniko where his “How To Train Your Robot” game became so popular that it landed him an article in Hacker Monthly.
